What are Sundays like?

We meet for Worship every Sunday at 10:45 am and usually dismiss around 12 noon. But some people like to get there early or stay late and have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and chat with friends.
When you park in our main parking lot, located in the back of the building, you’ll be greeted by a friendly face at the door. If you identify yourself as a first time person, they will be glad to help you find your way to the Worship Center. If you have children, they’ll be glad to show you where to take them so they can have a fantastic experience as well.
Some of your questions may include:

How do I get there?

Fort Mitchell Baptist Church is located at 2323 Dixie Hwy in Fort Mitchell, KY between Buttermilk Pike and I-75.
What should I wear?
Most people will dress in casual weekend attire, so dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in. If you like to dress more formally, that’s okay too.

 Where should I park?

FMBC has a large, newly re-surfaced parking lot at the back of our building. Drive down Dixie Hwy and enter on Silver Avenue and park in the big back lot. We have a one-way exit on the other side of our building to make it easy when you leave.  HANDICAP spaces are available in the front lot which leads to an Entrance Ramp with no steps.
What’s available for my kids?
Whether you come at 9:30am or 10:45am, we’ll be ready for you and your kids. As soon as you walk in the building, let one of our Greeters know you might need help and they’ll show you where you need to register your children. Our staff and volunteers will help you find everything you need for a great experience. We’ll give you a pager so that we can signal you if something comes up with your child while you’re in service.

What should I expect in the service?

Our services appeal to members and regular attenders, but we are very sensitive to our first time guests. Our greeting team will welcome you and help you secure a seat where you’re comfortable.
What about the Music?
Our music consists of uplifting praise and worship songs. We try to blend several music styles in the best way possible to appeal to a variety of tastes.

Complete the Connect Card

There will be a Connect Card in the back book rack of each pew. This card is our way of getting to know you better. You can complete as much information as you feel comfortable and turn it in when the offering plates are passed at the end of the service. We will never single you out during the service and we won’t visit your home unannounced during the week.

Commitment Time and Offering

There is a time of commitment at the end of the service for those who desire to make a response to how God is leading in their lives. Pastor Shane will explain the ways that are available to respond in each service. When it comes to the Offering Time, we do not expect our guests to feel obligated to give anything financially. The service is our gift to you. The offering is an opportunity for our members and regular attenders to return to God a portion of all His blessing.
